2. Overview

We process personal data only where necessary to provide the website, process orders, comply with legal obligations or on the basis of your consent. We do not share data for advertising purposes.

3. Website access (server logs)

Technically necessary data is processed: shortened IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser and operating system, referrer.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). Deleted after 30 days at the latest unless security incidents require longer retention.

4. Orders and customer account

We process name, company/institute, delivery and billing address, email, phone number (optional, for shipping SMS), order data and payment status.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract) and (c) (legal retention obligations).

Order and invoice data is retained for 10 years under Slovak commercial and tax law. Account data is deleted on request where no retention obligations apply.

5. Shipping and notifications

We pass name, delivery address and – if provided – email and phone number to DHL for delivery. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Transactional emails are sent via our email service provider under a data processing agreement. Optional shipping SMS are sent via an SMS provider (Twilio Ireland Ltd.).

6. Payment

For bank transfers we receive transfer data (name, IBAN, amount, reference) from our bank. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR.

7. Contact

If you contact us, we process your details to handle the request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once it is resolved, unless retention is required.

8. Hosting and processors

Website and database are operated by specialised cloud providers in the EU or with appropriate safeguards. Data processing agreements under Art. 28 GDPR are in place.

Transfers to third countries (e.g. USA) are based on an adequacy decision (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or EU standard contractual clauses.

9. Cookies and local storage

We use only technically necessary storage (cart, language, login), which is permitted without consent. No analytics or marketing tracking takes place; should this change, we will ask for your consent first.

10. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). Consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

11. Right to lodge a complaint

12. Data security

Data is transmitted encrypted (TLS). Access to customer data is restricted to authorised staff and logged.

13. No automated decision-making

No automated decision-making including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
